I've also heard people say the 2nd half wasn't that good either, but personally I liked Jyu trolling the fuck out of Giller.

The original plan was to have them killed off, but the editors said that was too dark. Zatch was a damn good manga though, but Clear fell a little flat at the end.

I never got what peoples problem with Clear Note was. I think the ending fitted with the rest of series vety well.

He's a boring villain,his motives makes no sense and the fact that it was hidden all along with no one noticing it is bullshit as well and looks like something the author came up in 5 minutes,making it a really bland final boss.

I liked how everyone was absurdly strong in the last arc, while still keeping the powerlevels believable.
Clear managed to feel menacing and terrifying, which is all I really need for a final boss.
