Even if he doesn't summon Oslo himself, wouldn't Oslo return to him immediately? So either Oslo is reluctant to bring King to where Elaine is or, for whatever reason, Oslo won't go to King. Out of fear of Elaine? Or maybe because she somehow forced him to stay put, which hasn't come unbound even when she regained her senses.
