Some people get murdered in a strange setting, locked room, isolated island or whatever. Watch as the characters find out who did it, how they did it and why.
That is commonly called a murder "mystery".

So is pic related in the past or is that the current little sister? Honestly I have forgotten if Dr Bugati said she had a younger sister but has an older sister that showed up this episode. If not then is pic related Dr Bugati in the past?

It's in the past. This isn't even hard, why are you getting confused?
Ever since ep 1 "Dr Bugati" has been telling us about Magata Shiki in the form of flashbacks to when she was younger.
Notice the past tense used and the obviously young looking loli that will look less young in the car/ferris wheel flashback.

I thought the one you "Dr Bugati" was the narrator/man in the flashback (because you know, he was driving the car in the flashback). Nevermind that then.
He's narrating and yes she seduced him when she was 13.
That happened in the past before she killed her parents.

Didn't like the two first two episodes much but I'm pleasantly they cut the bullshit and went straight to classic murder mystery territory. I like the chemistry between the main characters too.
