I was using the term conclusion as a synonym for peak
as in, after this point is reached the genre has pretty much be finished, anything made after will basically be a reiteration of something made along the way to that point or just a lame rehash of the climax.

Shonen is a genre in the same way young adult novels are a genre. Vague? Yes, but still sufficiently descriptive.

Nothing but shouting and feel good posturing. Combat was bland at best and hard to follow at worst, art was all over the place, and the robot designs were eeeeeeehhhhh or stolen from other franchises like super robot wars

The logical conclusion includes removing the boundary between pilot and mecha, as there is no appreciable distance between them in this "final" show.
