What's up with the planet in the background? It's falling apart, but I see city lights, implying it hasn't been evacuated.
Looks like something suddenly blew it up just now (and the moon in the foreground is about to get wiped out by debris), and yet the cause of this world-ending catastrophe doesn't seem to be depicted.

Danny Choo decided to invest in his Smart Dolls shit rather than an anime.

Like anime is expensive so he decided to use the money on an entirely new office building and hiring people for his Smart Dolls venture.

You can kinda find out on his blog or videos because it was pretty obvious the anime was never gonna be made when his blog started becoming 80 percent Smart Dolls.
