3) I use anki, absolutely. I do an average of 12-ish new words a day because I dislike it and suck at it. So far I have around 6,000 mature cards, and 2,500 kanji.
4) I'm reading Innocent Bullet right now, written by the guy who did Silverio Vendetta, Maxwell, and Vermillion (so it's on the upper end I would imagine). The vocabulary is absolutely crushing, I'm using the texthooker for this no doubt. I posted
