That's interesting, because that show's production was a complete disaster. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the stuff about episodes being delayed came from real-life anecdotes.

I like it a lot because of the relatively unique setting. There are so few anime depicting actual working adults that the novelty is enough to be at least a little interesting and the reliability of some of the things they go through made it a lot more enjoyable for me. I guess that doesn't mean a lot though since I'm sure there were neets who loved it and wage slaves who thought it was boring.

Also one of the more understated aspects of the show is its pacing. Unlike most SoL type shows it can sometimes feel like it's going almost too fast, and there are some parts where I almost have trouble keeping up. I think this works well though because it's very relevant to what Aoi's work life is actually like and helps to set the tone. Of course there are also probably a lot of people who didn't notice or care about any of that too.

Either way Yano is the best.

I think it was very good in the way it presented us with a cast of characters that you have the same relation to that you would in a SoL, and at the same time had a progressing story to care about. Pairing that with a setting that is as good as tailred to anyone with a deeper interest in anime, plus good art and direction made it a huge winner for me. Informative, exiting, funny and sometimes serious and relatable at the same time. Top tier in the end.
