If you read the VN, you'll notice how much the anime left out or simply didn't cover.
The Chaos Head anime is terrible don't watch it ever. Play the game. It takes a bit longer but holy hell is it leagues above the shit show they threw on the table for the anime.
Both works are self contained, you don't have to experience them in any order, and it really doesn't matter at all because there's no crossover unless you count the couple world similarities in the games.
Watch Robotics Notes only after experiencing both SG and CH though. If you don't, you'll miss out on a fuckton later on in the plot.
Also, learn to make your own decisions you fuck.
