So, Batoto really did lose more readers than they think they would. When they announce that they they were going private, you need to register to read everything but now you can read the latest chapters back.

/a/ already knows.
The move could only hurt casual readers. Big-time ripping algorithms are armed and employed by people who can write that shit up by themselves, so it's trivial for them to just make accounts and slightly alter the code.
