I'm a fan of Mahou Sensei Negima and Ken Akamatsu so I love it. It's been very entertaining so far. I think reading Negima, while not required reading, should be read before getting into U.Q. Holder. You will enjoy everything a lot more.

I liked later Negima more, but UQ Holder is starting to get stronger. So far, it's mostly about following Touta's personal story. Just the odd adventure that he goes through.

We're starting on Volume 10 of the series now, but it kind of feels like nothing has really happened.
