I'd like to point out that a lot of people think the "Seven apples on the witches tree" song is cheery, but when you really read into the lyrics they are not. It's really a song that's an intense sentiment of nostalgia or longing for a time that has past. Holo is speaking about wanting to go back to the times with Lawrence, but all good things come to an end, and she "cannot stay". You should listen to the full version if you haven't. The instrumental isn't really that uplifting either, it's a descending scale.
