I really want to like Casshern Sins, /a/. The pacing is so shit, though, I quit before I get five episodes in. Also, Casshern fucking looks like Ken Star and it kills me every time.
Akoz was cool, though.

Give me a good reason to watch it, /a/.

For me it's all about the atmosphere of the show, it's very simple in terms of story, and the episodic nature of the show is obviously a turn off for some people. But I loved the support characters, and Casshern is one of the only OP MCs I've ever enjoyed, I quite liked how they approached his demons, it never felt massively edgy to me.

It was similar for me. I dropped it around episode 9.

Recently, I rewatched a bit and also watched the last three episodes. It's not really worth forcing yourself for it.

I thought the episodic stuff from episode 1-13 was amazing.

It's slow, atmospheric and looks stunning. It's a show you're meant to be pulled into purely because of the mood it builds with its audio, visuals and simple yet endearing characters.

If you don't watch it for that then it's really not for you.
