F/Z is meant to be read/watched after you play/watch F/SN, but there is no big harm in watching it first really.

Just watch F/Z or the UBW anime first, watch the other one after, and play Extra and CCC while you wait for the HF movie. If you liked the franchise enough, consider reading Apocrypha and Strange Fake too.

F/SN VN is shit. Literally everything else made after it is miles better, CCC being Nasu's masterpiece.

That Narita can actually write decent characters and stories without making everything full cliche like Nasu does or everything grimdark and edgy like urobutcher does.
Narita is top tier writing, the other two are hacks.

To say an example, Saber went to jail in the last LN.

Nasu is a great world builder but his characters are a fucking hit or miss, he gets too pretentious or too simple. Azaka/Akiha/Rin are the same fucking character, he also doesn't know how to make them fun or entertaining.

Butcher on the other hand relies on shock value and on making his precious characters "fall to the deepest abyss" or some edgy shit like that(don't remember the quote).

It's slowly revealed in a series of plot twists. Saber reveals what Kiritsugu was really like (and later Kotomine), Gilgamesh shows up as a mysterious 8th Servant and Saber explains who he is, etc... The fun of Zero is filling in the gaps from what you knew.

His pacing is far worse than Nasu and Urobochi's. His characters seem more interesting on the surface and are further away when it comes to archetypes but he doesn't go anywhere with them. It's as if he decided that making them unique was enough and there was no need for character development.

And the themes present in his works are just not well touched upon. The setting and the novel characters are the main appeal of Baccano.

He's revered as a great writer here because he's an ameriboo and westerners on this board love the american appeal that they are familiar with. Of course he has japanese fans but they're pretty much ameriboos.

They're not. This old meme of "Nasu rehashing characters" started as a joke from a picture showing 3 heroines as combination of others. It's already been refuted and there's nothing more to discuss there.

And don't act like Narita doesn't rehash characters. Read the Baccano light novels and compare them to strange Fake and especially Durarara.

Also one can't be too pretentious or simple, it's one or the other.
