>>157588The "a" in /aco/ means "adult." Somehow that got interpreted as "feed my extreme porn and fetish addictions with every post at all times."
We actually have --
>>>/hc/ exactly for hardcore, senseless porn.
There have been a number of adult threads on /aco/ with generous and amazing content. Need to encourage that more.
Trashy fetish porn needs to be discouraged, somehow. The worst of that garbage, you can't even shame the posters; they're just /b/tard-level sociopaths, so that really only leaves the use of the ban.
A creative form of ban could be considered at the mod level, which would be something like a /b/an ... where you get banned _almost_ globally from all the boards of 4chan EXCEPT /b/ /pol/ and /hc/. Possibly even force them to make three posts per day in each of those boards for a week before their /b/an can be lifted. The concept being, make these assholes sit in their own shit-filled diapers for a week or more before they're allowed back onto the more civilized boards.
As far as "board culture" goes, /aco/ hasn't been around long enough. Yet. Ideally it will become much more adult content with a somewhat moderate porn-level content.
I don't really find some porn threads and mixed content objectionable. It sucks that more than half the board is packed with retarded & extreme threads, and that many threads get hijacked with /b/-level material.
It's great that the mods are using a light hand. That promotes a lot of interesting activity. However, they also have the tools to identify individuals who are just plain out-of-control and target them with some behavior modification.
Anyone, for an example, who blatantly ignores the catalog function should get a quick 72-hour vacation and summary thread deletion.
