By decyphering it, experts uncover a message explaining that these women must absolutelly not undergo any kind of operation while in this state, or it'll kill them. Highly specific details are given about the pregnancy so that the message is credible. Exams are allowed to be performed on them, but the babies being generated inside them must not be removed under any means.
By running the appropriate examinations it is discovered that these women are all pregnant with human children. Yet, all of the children contain the exact same code - they're all the exact same person, with slightly differences from the mother's genetic code. Furthermore, they discover that the child is actually nurturing the mother with everything she needs to survive, therefore justifying the reason to why message spoke against disturbing the pregnancy.
Mankind makes the preparations to receive the children into the world, but as soon as a woman is one week from giving birth, the phenomena starts again, with women disappearing in thin air in the order they disappeared last time. They all disappear in a space of two months until every woman is gone once more.
And exactly like last time, they all return one month later, again reappearing in places where no one can see. This time, however, they are not pregnant anymore, and are deep asleep. Their bodies are in perfect physical condition. The code in their left buttock still exists, but this time it's blurred out as if it had been burned to be unreadable.
Upon awakening, the women are completelly unable to remember what happened at all.
