The real shitty part is I'm only 18. My dad always told me he went bald by the time he was 19 or 21, I can't remember which, so this doesn't bode well for me
what are the ramifications for me going bald? If I AM going bald, at what point should I shave it all off?
My brother's ex-wife, who is a convicted felon currently in rehab after getting arrested on meth charges, is trying to get custody of his kids. Legally, they are currently on joint custody, but my brother has been taking care of the kids since he learned about her meth dealings in the beginning of the year.
She's recently called the cops and child protective services on my brother due to the "state of the house", and while the house is in disrepair - plumbing and heating are faulty - the police left satisfied that there were no problems and CPS - while insisting that they were obligated to continue an investigation - left without taking any action.
My brother is buying a new house in five days or so, so the bad housing situation won't be an issue.
My brother has filed for full custody, but since that takes time, my family is worried about the school situation. Twice, she tried to go to school and take the kids home with her - to a homeless shelter where she's attending rehab. Twice, the kids refused. Today, she entered the house and tried to get the kids again. The door shouldn't have been unlocked, admittedly, but it was only left unlocked so that another child could come in from school.
Can anything be done to stop her from picking the kids up at school? Or is she going to legally have a right to do so as long as she has joint custody? She's a felon for fuck's sake and has absolutely no income. No home. She was found naked in the woods when she got arrested. Her lover died of an overdose. I mean, shit.
Hey guys. So long story short, a friend of mine whom i haven't seen in over 6 years wants to meet up and hang out in NYC for newyears. She was my best friend in school but i joined the military and she moved to Canada... anyways, shes coming down from up north and I am coming up from down south, and I think she thinks we will be staying in a hostel or motel or something cheap but I am going to surprise her by renting an apartment in the city. I really like her and I think there could be something more there - should I be upfront with here about this before the trip? I am afraid of ruining everything by mistaking friendly gestures/comments for something more.
I don't tread here often but I've lurked this site for awhile, but I need help guy. My girlfriend has told me she has feeling for a guy in college when we're only seniors in high school. We dated 4 years ago and broke up after she moved away at the end of her 8th grade year, well this year she came back, I still had my feelings for her after 4 years and I immediately asked if she wanted to try something again. lol I wasn't even done with the question before she said yes and we've been happily together for 4 months now. But as of last week this guy texted her constantly, a guy she always had feelings for. immediately she started pushing away. When I told her she had to tell me what's really going on she told me she wanted to try it with him before she gets too serious with me. Not knowing what I could do to stop her I told that was fine with that. So here's what's happening now: She's going to go on a few dates with him while I sit back and wait, if things don't go well with him she's mine again, things go well with him and they get serious I drop all feelings for her and move on, as hard as that might be for me. So any opinions/advice on my current situation and what I could do to maybe bring her back to me?

i need some help guys. so yesterday i admited to a girl that i like her and that i would like to date her. when i told her, we were in a loud and bussy environment and at first she asked "like as in love" and i said yeah like as in i want to dae you." and at first i thought she said No and i was like "No, well alright then" but then she said "i meant i dont know"
and today i hung arround as usual but she was frusteratrd over her History test. but after school the girl came out with a friend and my brother said "hey its the girl that you (as in I) asked out." and her friend "was like wait what really." the girl then walks back into school and then texts me that shes at a study session and to tell her firend to come over. so i show him the text and he stays for a bit anyways. then she calls me. i pick up and she says if i could tell her friend where she was and i said yeah i already told him. and she said alright thanks. but before saying bye. i told her "what are you thinking about what i said yesterday?" and she replyed "idk still." and i said "lets just have a date see how things go. if it doesnt what ever." she then says "maybe, let me get over my history test first and then i may date you."

Me and my girlfriend want to move out on our own. I was wanting some advice on how to go about moving out. I make about $191 a week, she makes about $290 every two weeks, coming to about a total of $1344 a month. What kind of expenses should I be looking at? The rent at the place we are looking at is $650 a month, and that includes water, waste, and sewage.
Is it realistic to aspite to create your own multiplayer video game with the only goal being to spend most of your time in that game? I want to evade reality in a world which would be better for me.
Let's assume that you have a rather big programming experience, and can work on the game all day long. Let's also assume that the idea is interesting enough for a few other people to work with you on this game - it's basically a game which was rather popular a decade or so ago; but is now dead since it was never updated to better graphics and performance.
