Hey /adv/, so im coming to Dallas Texas on the 12th of December from India for a month. The thing is I dont know anyone local in the place. I kinda want to mingle with the people around and be a part of what people there traditionally do, keeping in mind that Christmas is approaching then. I wont really have a problem in communicating since my English is pretty fluent and I am pretty up to date with the current affairs. So being an outsider with an accent, is it possible to make some buddies with whom i could have a smoke and some beer. Most Indians in the U.S tend to hangout only with Indians(not sure if thats by choice). I dont want to that. So how do you guys think I should go about doing it.
