So about 30 minutes ago I was having a serious conversation with GF on the phone and I brought up my depression I experience and how it effects my relationship with others then she brought up out of no where that she was raped last year. (We've been dating for 6 months) so sometime between late 2013- early 2014 I guess.
She told me that and my stomach dropped and I had to hang up
I feel really weird about it
How is someone supposed to handle the fact that someone raped the girl you have feelings for not so long ago...
It has me kinda disgusted because it's making me connect it to things that might or might not have to do with it such as her being into BDSM which i heard sometimes chicks go crazy after getting raped and get into weird kinks.

I feel ashamed almost that some fuck boi RAPED the girl I had to put effort into getting with.
Anyone have similar experience and/or advice on how to handle the news
