Hi /adv/
This has been an issue for a long time, but I haven't started caring until recently. My feet sweat like a motherfucker. It's not an odor situation (unless it's been the same pair of shoes for several several months), just a lot of wetness.
I like to wear shoes like pic related, although I wear all kinds. For a long time though, I only wore the same pair of Vans everyday, and I figured maybe the sweat was coming from not letting my shoes adequately dry. So I saved a bundle of money and bought 7 pairs of shoes (lol), and the situation has not improved.
The onset of wetness starts about an hour after I've been wearing the shoes. If I wiggle my toes in my socks, it's definitely obvious. When I take my shoes off in the middle of the day, my socks are damp. It's uncomfortable and pretty shitty.
I've tried powder, quick-drying foot creams, and my doctor recently prescribed me some med that I'll be trying shortly.
To my fellow /adv/ friends, do any of you experience this, and how do you put up / stop it? Looking for any advice except Botox... I can't afford that!
