does school matter

In the same college, does which school I get a degree from matter?
I can major in Computer Science in either the school of engineering or the school of liberal arts and sciences
Does it matter to future employers ?
I want to double major so I'm considering liberal arts because it's more flexible

The type of bachelor's degree you get matters a little. BSc (sometimes just called "BS") is superior to BA.

You sound like you're just beginning. And so, simply because so many students switch majors at least once as they go along, I'd suggest the liberal arts college since it gives you more alternatives.

(And, while the difference is small, a BA still has a bit more prestige than a BS, since the latter can suggest a blinkered, limited study>)

Do some Google searches about top schools. There are some lists out there, but outside of the top ten or fifteen it doesn't matter.
