Hi, /adv/.
So, a little backstory on myself. I'm 19 and overweight, not obese, but chubby since, like, 10 and I want to make a little change.
I really want to start jogging, I have plenty of time in the morning and I don't need to get crazy muscles or anything - just to get in shape and get rid of my mantits.
So I've already decided to start in a couple days, but there's some questions I have:
1)What's the better time to wake up and go jogging?
2)What distance should I start with?
3)Should I do something before I go, like, have a cup of tea or something?
4)I guess I shouldn't have breakfast before I jog, but what amount of time should pass before I do so after running? Should I also not drink any liquid for a couple of hours after the jog?
5)Does the fact that I 'm a smoker for 2 or so years change something about how should I do it?
6)If I run out of steam, should I do a full stop to catch my breath or try to push my limits?
And if you have any other advice on this topic I'd be happy to hear it. Thanks for reading.
