>>16385966you don't know these people and they don't know you. Why should it matter what they think of you or even how they treat you? Human beings aren't reknown for their kindness, trustworthiness, honesty, tolerance, open mindedness, altruism, and on and on, you get the picture. The majority of people you come across aren't going to be kind and noble, and people who are different or vulnerable are a target for unjust treatment...everybody experiences the ugly side of people from time to time, some people experience it nearly all the time from the mass of people they encounter.
Of course, just because some people rarely experience the shittiness of nearly everyone, doesn't mean it isn't there...if what you're saying is true, just consider yourself a person who gets to see it first hand all the time. Just consider yourself privelaged to a more realistic view of humanity.
People are petty and shitty, but you don't have to let their ugliness corrupt you and make you ugly. If you are sensitive (and male), kind or vulnerable in anyway, you are prey for the predators that are human beings. People DO pick on and bully someone when they see weakness and vulnerability, a lot of people are looking for any chance to push somebody around and make themselves feel big. You might think of this as a male trait but women are just as bad if not worse. They are just as bitchy to men they don't like as they are to other women and they especially love the opportunity to be able to bully a man or feel bigger then him.
