Starting spending more time with girl in my social circle. Seeing really since I want to feel her out outside of the group hangouts. When she spends time together with two of her girl friends, at different times of course, she's someone I really like to be around. Same interests, pleasant, easy going, not bitchy.
When she's with one mutual friend whom I don't like (princess mentality, low self esteem/self control) she changes and mirrors off of that. Like a parrot on the shoulder. And lately, they've been spending more and more time together ever since this friend's coworkers have entered the picture. I've met them, I can tell they're snakes in the grass, rather uncomfortable when I'm around since I can see through them and always trying to qualify themselves to me.
This girl is 29, really pretty and we get along great, but these personality changes have left me putting the brakes on. Is this co-dependency issues? Social anxiety? Red flags for sure and I've brought it up to her, once, she just said I was paranoid.
