>>16388683I'll take that. I'll always be trying to communicate my ideas and inklings better, so if I've failed to bring them across without being hostile/patronizing/falsely modest etc, I'm glad someone will tell me.
Complete anonymity is wonderful, but it's also a bitch. I don't know this dude (or you) for shit. I only know of his singular issue that he's chosen to post about.
The dude could be twice as clever as me, three times as intelligent, and infinitely more wise. I've got no opinion on it one way or another; 4chan is a poor medium from which to judge someone.
I can certainly see how I came across as being falsely modest.
I feel that language should not be used as haphazardously. I feel that such a strong word as "tyranny" should not be improperly applied without jest to a situation such as this.
It is difficult to bring across my exact thoughts. Words mean more to me than to many other folk. I don't enjoy seeing them misused for hyperbole or self-pity's sake.
The last line could be changed to "You've likely not experienced real tyranny in your life, nor have I". That is what I meant to say. It wasn't meant to be taken literally; however, I can't blame anyone too much for taking it so.
