It is a huge turn off, but better now than never or when you are older even.
You don't have to wear braces like in pic related though.
There are other methodes where you just use braces that you put in every night before sleep that help you. Like invisalign.
If you can even wear it to fix your problem depends on how fucked your teeth are tho.
They shouldn't be too fucked, bro.

I was told I needed braces when I was 11 or so because I had a slight overbite (my teeth are straight otherwise), but over 10 years later, I haven't had a single problem even though I never got them

back then she also said i have some baby teeth that i would need to remove when i reached like 20 years old. don't remember the specifics though, but wearing braces at 20 sounds like hell
