She's the kind of friend that another friend of ours will trash her and call her a terrible person when we're alone, because she tends to drag down fun times by getting pissy and silent.
Would you call her on saying something shitty, or just ignore it? Even if it is a joke, there's a limit on jokes going from funny to being rude, like the immature high schoolers that call another friend a total loser. To me it seems like this little 'joke' is going to that end of the spectrum.
