Am I fucked? In the link below it says for Canada (if you want to move to the states for work), you need 12 years of work experience to be equivalent to a 4-year bachelor's degree.

I'm an artist, if I get a job offer from a studio/company in the states, I have to have TWELVE years of work experience before I can get a work visa? That seems completely retarded.
