My boyfriend got hit by a car over 3 years ago. He's been in a coma ever since. I've been waiting for him to wake up. I haven't dated or even flirted with anyone else.

But, since about 6 months ago, our friend, whom I thought was straight (just broke up with his gf this year), admitted he loved me. He's been there for me since the accident. I've been constantly anxious and depressed, and have had many moments where I just lose my mind and freak out, and our friend, he's been there by my side every time. He has had such a big impact on keeping my sanity in check. I told him, I love him too.

I don't know if it's okay to be with him. I feel like I'd be cheating, right? It's been eating me up.
