Military sucks dick, dont do it.

I went to boot camp with this 32 year old though he got waivered.

He faired fine on everything for his age.

Drill instructors did seem to fuck with him in odd ways, but as he was older they didn't have many issues with him

Okay what do you wanna know . I join when I was 23 got out this year. I am 30 now . What's the deal? What's goal. What do you want in life and can the military successfully help you reach that? If you don't Know then no one is gonna figure it out for you . If you just want to get away there are better options with out all the restrictions the military has. If you ain't sure then don't waste you time . Find something you are good at and stick with it. Trust me the military don't want people with out a purpose at this moment with this whole downsizing. OP I suggest you watch the Army and Navy
bootcamp videos on youtube. The ones where they show what the recruits go through and what is expected of them. As you are watching think about whether that is something you want to commit to or not.
