If you have the determination and are willing to put the hours in, focus on a single skill and start researching it. Try putting it into practice and, if need be, start putting money into it. But don't put serious cash into whatever it is your focusing on without the intention of pursuing it. I'd wait awhile before putting cash into whatever it is you decide to do.
Look at internet famous people you admire, see how they act and how they talk to their fan base. Ask yourself why people like this person and what makes this person unique among the rest. Put some effort into the identity you create and always be careful with what you say.
Let me reiterate the first things I mentioned: Do what you love and follow it. If you really love it and put the effort into it, people will find you and follow you. Never go out of your way to find people. If you're good enough and you give off a vibe that people enjoy, they'll seek you out. Don't expect instant fame, expect a long road with a great reward at the end if you follow it long enough.
