Is excessive porn and fapping bad for you?

18 year old kissless virgin here. I just graduated from highschool and am starting college next February; sick of my own bullshit and want to start making changes to my life.

I've never been in a relationship before, naturally consuming heavy amounts of porn and fapping heaps since around 15. I think maybe it has effected me but I didn't realise it.

I'm seriously considering deleting my stash, but that nofap bullshit just seems like a big circlejerk.

wat do?

My experience with nofap was never related to addiction, since I fap mostly out of boredom. I have tried it three times in the last year, each period lasting about 3-4 weeks. No fapping in and of itself won't make you a more attractive person, but it does provide you with the opportunity to focus on other things.

As I was talking to beautiful girls, I kept reminding myself that I'm above this primal desire, it doesn't have any influence on me, and so I got better at connecting with the *person*, thus being a more interesting person myself, instead of focusing on the possibility of me being swallowed by their seductive physicality. It also means that when you do get with a girl, you'll be less numb to the sensation and connection. I came buckets.

Give it a try, but don't feel like you've let yourself down if you can't resist. It's your body you do whatever you want, and should never feel ashamed. There's more to women than holes and surfaces, and you're more likely to discover this if you keep you fap folder closed more often than not.

Nofap is bullshit, but that doesn't mean you should stroke yourself multiple times daily.

Ejaculation releases chemicals into your body, when you do it very very often your body will be affected, results may vary.

Keep it to once a day, or one every 2-3 days...it'll make it more enjoyable and fuck up your hormones a little less.

This is true!

Pro soccer players are ordered to not have sex/fap the night before a game because it will impact performance.
