Cold Relief

Has anybody tried putting Hydrogen Peroxide 3% in your ears to fix a cold? If you have any advice to git rid of a cold fast(24 hours), anything help.

Putting hydrogen peroxide in your ears will generally do jack shit to help you get rid of a cold. I honestly don't know how someone could be so stupid as to believe that.

Colds are viral infections. As such, you cannot do much but treat the symptoms. Your bodies immune system is in charge of destroying the infection and may take up to a week.

Next time get a flu shot before flu season.

I hate hippy bullshit but I find the whole hot water/lemon/garlic/paprika witch mix at least makes you feel a bit bitter and might cut the cold down by a day. Probably just a placebo though.

in USA literally dozens of over counter pills some of them are very strong too

this is literally one of the worst ideas i've ever heard in terms of home remedies. hydrogen peroxide barely does anything for cleaning a wound, much less "curing" a viral infection like the cold.

just rest, ride it out, and take meds to help with the symptoms (acetaminophen, dayquil, etc.)
