For a lot of loners that urge is fulfilled with chan or the chat in online games or whatever, but it's good to be around people cuz even if you don't like to interact, one should at least be able to.
also (and i don't want to hijack your tread and make it about drugs, but: my view on dealing with social interactions changed drastically when i first experienced mdma, like I would just talk to random people and be pleasantly suprised by their reactions. Even touching them. Some of that gave me confidence in normal life.
