Some people get herpes from their mothers when they're pushed through the birth canal. It's super common, a ton of people have it and don't even know it because they're asymptomatic.

Don't worry too much about it. I have it, my ex gave it to me, and we were both able to easily find new relationships. I don't know if he told his love interest before things got serious, but I tell people up front.

How about go to the doctor. I had allergic reaction and chiggers and weird stuff when I was in high school that usually was worst on my groin. It could also be shingles which is technically herpes but only happens once and isn't an STI. I'd hate to break it to you but there's a reason its called a SEXUALLY transmitted infection. You generally have to have sex to get them or else everyone would have them from using public rest rooms which wouldn't make them sexual.

I went to two doctors.
A PA and an MD.

the PA didn't know what it was, and the MD said its shingles or herpes but he wasnt sure. Tomorrow morning is when Ill have some herpes test done.

You do realize that you cannot get herpes unless you

A) LITERALLY fucked somebody. You guys exchanged bodily fluids, things went inside other things, etc. which isn't your case

B) You exchanged so much saliva with someone that you got it. I don't mean a little drop, I mean you'd need to full on make out with tongue to get herpes from someone.

I've drank from the same glass a guy with oral herpes had (I was young and didn't know).

Literally nothing happened.

Unless you're a faggot or SOMEHOW got your mouth all over an area where someone slobbered, there is simply no way.

Herpes can only be passed through skin to skin contact.

The virus can stay dormant for years, and even decades before having an outbreak (if it ever does).

Herpes almost always infects the mucous membranes of the body (like the genital region or the lips).

A doctor or clinic cannot test for herpes unless there is a sore you suspect is a herpes outbreak. They then swab it can can tell you if that sore is or is not herpes. Even if it's a no, that doesn't mean you don't have herpes in general, just that that particular sore isn't caused by it.

The only way to know definitively of you don't have herpes is to go to a specialty lab and get a PCR test, and get retested after every time you so much as kiss somebody.

It doesn't work that way. These diseases generally infect the very poor/drug addicts/black people. Its generally not normally associated with smart/educated people. The percentage is a lot lower.
