Found out housemates deals drugs. He's an awful housemate for paying bills anyway & was on the verge of kicking him out. Should I tip off the police about this degeneracy, or approach him myself about it? He's been here just over a month & my other housemate won't do anything because she's intimidated by him.

Kick him out if you want but the drugs don't have anything to do with it. Maybe use it as leverage to get him to leave but there's no reason to report him to anyone.
