Is it a bad thing for a couple to barely be in touch? I haven't made it official yet with this girl, but after a month of dating and lots of fun we've had together in person, I'm seriously considering bringing it up soon.

Thing is, we rarely text. It's unthinkable these years, but we just don't. Every once in a while, sometimes daily and sometimes much less than daily, I ask her how X went or she tells me about a funny thing that happened to her and then we have 4-5 texts worth of conversation, but that's it.

I know one of her friends (a guy she met after me) has endless text contact with her, but I'm still the one she's dating. Usually he's around her all day already, 5 days a week, so compare that much contact with how much contact we have.

I'm kind of okay with how things are between us, but that last paragraph kind of worries me. Is it worth worrying about? What should I do about it?
