i have a "friend" that i friend-zoned after we had kissed. (he initiated, i rejected him as nice as i could after) i didn't think he'd actually want to be friends, but he continued keeping in contact with me and i figured maybe he would be genuinely ok with that; plus he himself had said he was alright with it.
things seemed ok at first, but when he started to learn that i was developing feelings and eventually in love with my now bf, he became kind of mean with his "teasing." also, he started bringing up the kissing thing and how i was the one who "threw myself over him." for some reason, he thinks i'm some kind of heart-breaker party girl type who fucks chads on the regular and that my bf is just a phase. he had mentioned plenty of times how he thinks me and my bf wouldn't last because i would get "bored" eventually.
my bf is the best thing that's happened to me, and now i'm concerned about this friend who might try to sabotage what i have with him. i don't hang out with this friend often, but from what i understand, he's kind of a selfish and childish guy who has trouble controlling his emotions. he had also broke up with his gf recently.
do you think he might try to pull a stunt to break me and my bf up? what should i do? i'm already trying to fade out from this friendship because he's an awful friend anyway, but trying to keep it on good terms so he won't have a reason to try and hurt me.
