Ok guys, so I'm going to propose to my girlfriend soon and I'd like to do the traditional asking for her dad's blessing as it's something that's important to her. The only problem is that we live in a different country and I'd obviously prefer to do it in person than over the phone.
We're going back home this weekend for a few days but I can't think of any scenario that would arise where I'd be able to be in her house with just her parents and her not knowing what was going on, as they live in a small village and she never really goes out at home without them unless it's with me. Has anyone had any kind of similar experience or any advice they could give?
