>>16395205I'm going into the military (if I can) and I'm looking at putting my dogs up in a big fancy long term fostering care place when I go for training.
My dad does -not- understand how much I love my dogs. He's the "leave them in the backyard, rain or shine" type and I'm the "my dogs sleep in my room, if not on my bed, eat only good food and are practically my babies type"
So he asked me what i'm going to do with them, and i told him. He asked how much the care costs, and I told him $600, when it's really like $800 minimum, if not more. He obviously thinks it's pretty outrageous but like I said, I'd do anything for my pups.
I don't know if I should just tell him that it's practically going to cost me a months worth of rent to house them until i'm done. I just need to get them in for the first month and then my paycheck will be good enough to cover the rest of the time i'm in training. The problem is that first month. He might help me with the cost, but I already lied because I knew he was gonna judge me
