>>16397166Hah... yeah part of it probably depends on the relationship.
My best friend's girlfriend has bought and shown off some of her negligees and lingerie and asked what I thought, and I'll admit, I think she's cute, she thinks i'm cute, and we get super flirty, but it's a flirty that comes from a sense of safety in knowing that absolutely nothing would ever happen between us; I have a GF, her and her BF have lived together for several years, and her BF is my best friend of over a decade and a half.
Part of it's also probably that we have really complementary senses of taste in fashion.
Part of it's also that things like that are kind of demystified when you've basically babysat, thrown them in showers, held their hair/washed puke out of it, and nursed them back to health when their crumpled in a hungover ball countless times.
My gf says she gets the vibe that I think of her like the little sister I adore. And when I think of her, I just think, "Dawww" the same way I would looking at a kitten, so I guess she's right lol.
So when she's asked me about her lingerie, I didn't bat and eye and just gave her my honest opinion.
So could it be taken as innocuous? Sure. But the circumstances have gotta be fairly particular and the chances of it being interpreted in that exact way are pretty damn unlikely.
