Hey bros I fucked up and need some advice.
So today I accidentally missed a midterm exam and I need a good excuse so that I don't fail because of it. I came up with two pretty okay ideas but I don't know if I can pull it off.
First, there is a walk in clinic down the street where I can get a doctor's note which should excuse my missing the midterm, however they are closed for today so I'd have to go tomorrow. The notes are dated of course, so the professor would see that it has tomorrow's date instead of today's which might seem kind of sketchy. So I would email him and say that I'm sick so I missed today and I couldn't make it to the doctor's office but I'll get a note tomorrow. Then I go tomorrow, get a note and give it to him on Wednesday.
My other plan is to say that my dog died and that in my despair I forgot about my exam. I go to an SJW heavy uni in california so I'm pretty sure he would sympathize with me and let me off easy. My dog actually died about a year ago but I still have his collar and some toenail clippings that I could use as "proof" to back up my claim. I also *may* be able to dig up the video that I took of my dog being euthanized which I think would be pretty compelling evidence to back me up, but there's like a 55% chance that the video is lost forever.
I dunno /b/ do you think I could pull this off or am I just straight fucked? Or do u have a better idea cuz i'm thinking of going with plan A for now unless someone can convince me otherwise.
