>>16399260I'm not really quiet, but yeah it comes across that way.
I usually don't have a great volume to say, but what I have to say is usually very dense.
Most people I talk to say either that I'm stoic, eloquent or overly erudite(to put lightly), or that I said something deep. Also, I get, "When you talk I feel stupid." a great deal.
I have no idea why tbh. I was talking with creative writing professor at one point, and one person yelled from across the room, "yo, nigga use smaller words."
Thing is, I would say my lexicon is pretty average for a college student.
Then again, I am an editor for our creative writing magazine, even though I'm a CS major.
But, the only girl I've been in a long term relationship with, loved to hear me talk about science, literature, or art. She also picked up my somewhat subtle humor. Sometimes she would just say, "Say something smart." I took this as queue to talk about whatever interested me at the time.
Unfortunately, she took to some hardcore drugs I wasn't ok with, so I cut it off.
Overall, I kinda just keep my mouth shut because I recognize what I have to say doesn't really matter to anyone. This is also why I really enjoyed my creative writing class both in highschool and college. It's a place for me to say the profound things that come into my brain. It gives me a voice that others can actually interface and reflect on. Awesomely, enough I've had three poems published. Probably in places no one will see them though.
