Okay, let me be short: I'm fucked with heartburn. It's basically gastritis leveling up. I went to a doctor, who is my girlfriend's uncle, and he told me to do an endoscopy and take some medicine. The thing is: I won't. I'm taking all the medicine in the list but I definitely won't put a tube down my throat to reach my guts just to check "hey, that's gastritis for sure, seems like you're taking the right medicine". There's risk of being infected with bacteries and shit, plus the whole vomit thing and being (nearly) awake watching everything.
I won't do that shit and I told him. Now I simply don't know what to expect, there will be family reunions and parties and this guy will be there saying "so, when will you do the endoscopy and come back for another check-up?"
What would you do?
