First of all im not drug seeking, well technically I am but Im not trying to get high I just want to be able to function in public and go to job interviews without completely freaking out. I need advice on getting my doctor to prescribe me with some type of benzo.
She already has me on a barbiturate- "Buspirone" which is great for my general anxiety but I still have mild to severe panic attacks in stressful situations.
Im seeing my doctor tomorrow so what exactly should I say? and is there anything I shouldn't say so I don't get shut down? shes already told me in our first meeting "they dont like to prescribe benzo". does that mean im screwed? or do you think maybe she will prescribe it once shes sure im just not drug seeking?
any advice is much appreciated
