Suffered from depression nearly my whole life, along with other mental health issues. Up until the last year, where things have got a lot better.I have the odd moment.
What helped me?I reexamined my life, looked at my goals and at first, found direction. Then,i did my best to socialize in real life. Don't be scared of people. I've talked to so many people and they all have interesting perspectives. Don't need to become best friends.
I also try new things. BE adventurous. Look outside the box. Rock climbing, Mountain biking, going clubbing for the first time, festivals, galleries or anything else that piques your interest.
Lastly, depression is just a
label.It isn't an "illness". It's a disorder. Everyone deals with it sometimes. Love yourself, live in the moment and never give up!
