My good friend from high school was arrested a ago for killing his girlfriend. He very well might get the death penalty because of the severity and premeditation. We haven't spoke because of our jobs at the time in 3 or 4 years.

I want to write him a letter and give him any type of positive reinforcement. I visited him when he was arrested but I moved out of state and it's too far to travel to to keep visiting him so I'm going to write him.


What should I say? I don't even know where to start

He is a murderer and confessed to it to me and his family and police but he geninunely is a great person despite what he did and I know most of his family has stopped speaking to him so I feel like talking to his old friend could help morale
