Now I realise this will be different for every woman so I'm trying to get a general consensus here - can you explain your orgasms to me?

The reason I ask is sometimes my girlfriends mind is quite hard to read during foreplay and/or sex. When I go down on her, she displays the usual signs that she's enjoying herself - arching her back, grabbing the sheets etc etc.

What confuses me is sometimes it seems like she's writhing around, so naturally pushes me away, sometimes I physically feel her pushing me away and she tells me to give her a second (and usually if I touch or lick her at this point she jumps like someone scared her), sometimes if I really grab on to her legs and force myself to stay there and it was the best thing to do in that moment.

Is she trying to save her orgasm for when we move from foreplay to sex? Is it a form of edging that women are able to do? Do you feel pleasure at different levels on different days for what ever reason?
