Is it normal to be more judgemental in relationships?

I've started dating for the first time recently but it's like ever since crossing the "friends to lovers" barrier it's like everything she does puts an imaginary sims minus sign over my head.
I feel like I haven't been able to enjoy the lovey dovey stuff at all because of it... but how do I stop it?
