So I recently lost a best friend to a drug OD. I have another best friend who has a tendency to occasionally carelessly use hard drugs as well as a history of driving drunk/high and getting lots of DUIs.
We usually text all day everyday. I haven't heard from them for about three days and I was with them the last day we spoke and can confirm they had no drugs on hand. But it's very odd that I hvent heard from them and it's really scaring me considering this is what happened before I found out about the other friend.
I know they had a drug test coming up and if the were to fail it they would go to jail for awhile but that has happened before and they got a notice before they had to go back and told me beforehand and stuff like I'm pretty sure they would have made it a point to let me know somehow.
Has anybody been through a similar situation or have any reassurance? I'm so depressed and can't focus on anything. I just want to know they're alive and safe and will be able to reach me again eventually but I obviously have no way of doing so. We don't really have any mutual friends I can ask and I don't have their family members numbers
