>>16402133How old are you now anon?
And have you experienced mature love?
I had a girlfriend for two weeks when I was 14. Was mostly awkward. Made out when I saw her. Told her I loved her and she responded with a "Thank you!" She wrote me a letter saying we should only be friends, then she hooked up with a mate of mine who was one of the most alpha guys in our school. I stayed friendzoned and in love with her for 2 more years. It felt hopeless.
Got a real girlfriend when I turned 18. Lost my virginity less than a week after we first kissed. We were together for 11 months, but she went away to some sort of Christian camp/school for the last five of those months. We were best friends, hung out a lot, alone and with friends/family. I had a good relationship with her parents. I thought she was 'the one'. Felt incredibly hard whenever the communication between us wasn't working, but very rosy peachy whenever we were just in love/happy/sexy.
Don't really know what to say, don't think about it. Ever. I didn't learn much. Don't really think of it as that formative, but I'm glad I had it.
To put it in context. You feel like your missing out on young love. I don't know what it's like to be single in my twenties. 31 now, and I was in two relationships for nine years put together, from the age of 20.
I would swap having teen love/sex for exploring the field more in my twenties tbh.
